East Midlands International Trade Association’s most recent event proved of particular interest to Print-Rite Europe, with the spotlight on China.
The ‘Market Focus’ event – the latest in a series presented by EMITA – was hosted at the China Si Yuan Centre on the Nottingham University campus and was attended by Print-Rite Europe Chief Executive, Tony Mills.
Speakers for the event included Min Rose, Deputy Director of Knowledge Exchange Asia who spoke about the University’s strategic engagement with China; Dr Jinmin Wang, Associate Professor at Nottingham University Business School, who delivered a presentation on ‘Reaching Chinese Consumers; and Tim Shaw, International Trade Advisor at Midlands Engine, who offered advice on specific industries and market segments.
Commenting on the event, Tony Mills said: “With our head office in Hong Kong and manufacturing facilities in China, I was of course very keen to attend this event which proved extremely interesting and informative. I would like to think that in the future we could explore ways in which Print-Rite could work with EMITA for the benefit of its members.”
